Koji is my foundation male and the cornerstone of this program. He was imported from kennel Jikino Kensha in Finland and really showed me not only what this breed is capable of but what I want out of my program. He is extremely driven, confident and exudes a sense of stoicism in public, but is loving and goofy with his people. Koji and I achieved quite a few firsts together, for myself as well as the breed. He was the first dog I ever showed to an AKC CM as well as my first UKC Champion and Grand Champion. He was also the first shikoku to ever compete in a US hog bay and is still the only shikoku to've placed in bay competition. He's my forever camping and travelling partner, the ultimate brewery buddy, and I could not be more thankful to have been able to build my program around such an amazing dog.
